Aimed at meeting the burgeoning travel demands in Utah County, the Provo City Airport Expansion includes a 68,000 sf terminal featuring four commercial gates, concessions, seating areas, TSA functions, baggage handling systems, and rental car facilities, strategically arranged to optimize passenger flow. Structurally, the terminal draws inspiration from historic Main Street aesthetics, utilizing brick facades and window fronts complemented by exposed black iron within the building's structure and metal panels on the exterior.

Challenging site conditions, including proximity to Utah Lake, required meticulous planning to address soil composition, water table, and drainage issues. The design team's efforts to mitigate these challenges ensure the terminal's stability and resilience, providing a welcoming and functional space that aligns with Provo City's identity of "Welcome Home!"
