In the News

The Clearfield Library was designed with mindful consideration of the needs of tomorrow while delivering those of today. Behind the large front-facing windows is a visually striking staircase that serves as a focal point of the design and connects the two levels, which are suited for a wide range of uses. The 15,000 sf library has something for everyone, including the Children's Library, dynamic areas for reading, storytelling, and studying, a large multi-purpose room capable of seating 125, and even a technology hub. The technology hub ensures that the library has dedicated space for innovation and will remain relevant for many years to come. The architectural design of the building is a tribute to the community's strong ties to nearby Hill Air Force Base and its advancements in aviation technology. This homage is evident in the intricate details, including representations of dappled clouds and linear tracts of land reminiscent of aerial views. The distinct shape of the roofline along the building's Main Street frontage mimics a modified airfoil, showcasing the building's connection to aviation.
