In the News

Located on President’s Circle at the University of Utah, the George Thomas Building is the former home of both the University Library and Utah Museum of Natural History. The building was renovated and expanded into a center for scientific research and teaching. The Crocker Science Center houses the Center for Cell and Genome Science, the Center for Science and Math Education, modern classrooms, laboratories for interdisciplinary science and math education, and a technology-incubator space. The scope included retaining the structure’s façade and other notable architectural elements. The building also underwent a comprehensive seismic upgrade.
