This two-story office building is built to serve and accommodate the growing population of the southwest area of Salt Lake County. The structure is located on county property next to a courthouse.  The steel-framed building incorporates a moment frame system in one direction and load-bearing masonry shear walls in the other. The steel moment frames use bolted end connections that are entirely assembled in the field with bolts instead of welding. The steel moment frames and masonry walls are on the perimeter, with interior columns configured to maximize the perimeter window office layouts and minimize the number of columns within the space. Shelled space was provided to accommodate anticipated growth.
