O.C. Tanner manufactures corporate awards and develops programs to help companies show appreciation and recognize employees who produce great work. To accommodate growth and enhance the company’s global headquarters, 16,000 sf of an existing 2-story southwest facility was demolished and a new 20,000 sf grand entry was added. This 30-foot high and 150-foot long entry comprises a public plaza, seating areas, water features, conference rooms, and a lecture hall for approximately 1,000 people. Floating staircases were added to the lecture hall, and a glass-enclosed room overlooks the grand hall. A new suspended canopy is now the focal point of the entry.  An additional 10,000 sf of the project involved remodeling bathrooms, offices, manufacturing cells, and a new physical therapy room. Five loading docks were constructed, along with a refinery service area. The shipping and receiving area was relocated away from the main entrance.
