Jacobsen Construction
2014 AGC Utah Best Health Care Project Over $100M, 2014 UC&D Utah Most Outstanding Large Healthcare Project
Designed with children and families in mind, the Outpatient Services Building at Primary Children’s Hospital is for patients visiting briefly for doctor appointments or procedures. There are 67 exam rooms, a lab, a Kids Clubhouse, café, and support spaces. The 4-level parking terrace contains almost 1,500 stalls. The building marks the first major expansion to Primary Children’s Hospital in 22 years and opens up much-needed space in the main hospital. Thirty-two clinics moved into the new building—including clinics that had been located blocks or miles away at Research Park and near Trolley Square.
