Built to help with University of Utah recruiting and to keep pace with other PAC-12 schools, the football center includes training and sports medicine facilities, 60-seat team auditorium, weight room, 250-seat cafeteria, offices, individual meeting rooms, and equipment areas. A two-level observation deck overlooks practice fields and the Salt Lake Valley. The 17,000 sf sports medicine clinic boasts hydrotherapy pools and other state-of-the-art equipment that all teams will use. The players also enjoy a 6,500 sf locker room, a 3,600 sf players’ lounge equipped with flat-screen TVs, group study areas, and game areas. Coaches have over 47,000 sf of office and meeting space. The Hall of Fame honors past Ute football greats and is home to Utah’s bowl and league championship trophies.
