Tooele County School District Community Learning Center
To better support science and vocational careers, Tooele County School District imagined a state-of-the art learning center for its community. Today, the learning center supports classes and activities in health sciences, engineering sciences, information technology, biotechnology, culinary arts, graphic arts and design, child development, and cosmetology.
The facility provides labs, classrooms, an educational testing/assessment center, and a community multi-purpose center. These and other spaces support research and collaborative educational methods that help students learn a technical career for life. The learning center is the new home of the Alternative High School and shares space with Utah State University, Salt Lake Community College, and Tooele Technical College.
