Orem Library Hall
Design and construction for the Orem Library Hall project were conducted in two phases. At just over 23,000 sf, Phase 1 was designed to accommodate various facilities essential for cultural programs and events, including two 60-seat meeting rooms, public restrooms, office space for the Timpanogos Storytelling Institute, a spacious lobby and art gallery, and an auditorium equipped with a proscenium stage for storytelling performances and diverse cultural activities. Backstage amenities include dressing rooms and a green room, ensuring the functionality of the performance space.
Phase 2, totaling approximately 11,000 sf, included the addition of three smaller rooms dedicated to recording personal and family stories, along with expanded workshops and seminar areas. The project also included a small black box theatre capable of seating 75 for live recordings, storage space for the Timpanogos Storytelling Institute, a gift shop, an exhibit area for oral histories and storytelling performance recordings, and a catering kitchen to facilitate receptions and gatherings.
