Jordan School District Mountain Ridge High School
2017 ENR Mountain States Region Best Renovation/Restoration Project
Situated in one of Utah's largest school districts, Mountain Ridge High School was constructed to meet the needs of a rapidly growing student population. The school's location on a steep slope posed a challenge for the district's standard design. Reaveley collaborated with the architects to make simple adjustments that led to significant improvements. As a result, Mountain Ridge students now have access to a campus that maximizes its surroundings and enriches the student experience.
The spacious cafeteria seamlessly connects to a striking commons area. The recreational area features a second-level running track that encircles arena-style seating. The new high school is equipped with top-notch technology and includes unique maker spaces in the Career and Technical Education area. Visually, the building exterior embodies the community's identity, blending practicality with pride.
