After half a century of academic and athletic successes, Brighton High School was ready for its own architectural win. Overcoming site constraints and a challenging sloped lot, the 50-year-old school was redesigned and rebuilt.  A new field house and performing arts center now anchor each side of the campus, while the athletics area offers more activities and space for community sports leagues.

The 1,100-seat auditorium features improved acoustics and impressive lighting, and sound systems. The technical education facility springboards Brighton High students into a range of vocational training. And the new three-level academic wing supports much-needed technology capabilities.  Previously designed with curving hallways and a circular floor plan, the new building provides clear sightlines, improving wayfinding and supporting school security measures.
