Boise State University Stueckle Sky Club & Press Box
Layton Construction
In 2008, the Bronco Stadium underwent a major expansion, enhancing the overall student experience. The addition introduced modern facilities and amenities to support press broadcasts, booster accommodations, and the BSU Athletic Department.
The design features four elevated floors on the stadium's west side, towering above the upper seating bowl, with two additional floors at ground level. The expansion includes suite, club, and loge box seating options, four spacious reception areas with full-service bars for game day concessions and private events, and complete media and game operations facilities.
A highlight of the project is the installation of a 324-foot retractable glass wall in the club seating area, which at the time was the largest of its kind in the world. This unique feature provides a seamless connection between the addition and the existing stadium. As the tallest structure in the vicinity, the Sky Suites offer stunning panoramic views of Boise's mountain ranges and historic downtown district.
