The biosphere is one of five large venues at Thanksgiving Point. It covers more than 33,000 sf, including renovated space in the former Emporium building and a 10,0000 sf greenhouse with waterfalls that is home to thousands of butterflies and flowering plants.
Four major interactive displays make up the biosphere: The Costa Rican Climber Playland, Discovery Room for hands-on learning, Butterfly Flight Zone, and Education classrooms and exhibits.
