Introducing Emily Williamson, the newest addition to the Reaveley team. With a fresh PhD from the University of Utah under her belt, Emily's passion for engineering is contagious. Her graduate research on mass timber buckling restrained braced frames was published in the ASCE Journal of Structural Engineering. Her work in this specialized field has also garnered her the prestigious "2023 Wood Engineering Achievement Award – Young Engineer" from the Forest Products Society. She is deeply committed to understanding and surpassing her clients' expectations on every project.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Emily is a Washington native who relishes outdoor adventures like hiking, skiing, and sailing, particularly during visits to with her parents. She loves cooking alongside her husband, Chris, constantly striving to perfect new recipes and indulge in shared meals. An adept baker, she takes pride in her mastery of chocolate chip cookies and carrot cake, too.
